The Community Spirit Program 2010-11 donation grant is now open. The application deadline is December 31, 2010. Visit the program website at www.communityspiritprogram.ca for the updated program guidelines, application, frequently asked questions, toolkit, information sessions, etc.

New Online Process - Organizations are encouraged to submit the donation grant application and final report through the new online system.

To access the system, phone the program office by Friday, December 17, 2010 to be set up with a user id and password. For maximum technical support, organizations are encouraged to begin the online application process as soon as possible. The program guidelines contain additional information.

Information Sessions - Once again, Information Sessions will be scheduled throughout the province. Some sessions will be delivered via videoconferencing, and some will be 'live' sessions. Click on 'Information Sessions' for complete details about a session taking place near you. Please note: Additional sessions will be added throughout the fall, so keep checking the program website for updates.

Maximum Grant over three years - The maximum grant available over three years is $50,000. We are now entering the third year of the program, so some organizations have reached the maximum $50,000 cap. As a result, they cannot apply in 2010-11. If your organization falls in this category, watch the program website in September, 2011 for details about the donation grant.

2009-10 Final Report - If your organization received a donation grant earlier this spring, don't forget to complete the 2009-10 Final Report. The report is due no later than May 1, 2011.
