filling Station, Canada's Alternative Literary Magazine based in Calgary, is a 100% volunteer-run Non-Profit. Created by writers, for writers, the material presented in our pages is selected by an ever-changing Collective of poetry and fiction lovers. Our monthly Flywheel Series (most first Thursdays at Pages Books on Kensington) along with exciting cross-genre literary events are also run by volunteers. Our volunteer Board is also comprised of arts community members who share the vision that an innovative literary magazine can not only inspire and entertain with its printed pages, but also assist and encourage emerging artists to find their voices, making a positive impact on Calgary's artistic community as a whole.

Fall 2010-Spring 2011 will be an exciting and challenging time as we are planning many fundraising events and identifying grassroots opportunities to help sell subscriptions, raise funds, and create awareness to support our 2011 publishing year.
