Renewal of Alberta Creative Development Initiative (ACDI) for 2011-2012

The Alberta Creative Development Initiative (ACDI) has been renewed for a fifth and final year! This program is a fantastic opportunity for Alberta artists, arts organizations, and art administrators. Below is more information on the program:
ACDI is a partnership of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, in collaboration with the Calgary Arts Development Authority and the Edmonton Arts Council. This partnership was designed to support the development of professional artists and arts organizations in Alberta, to foster a dynamic, vibrant arts community in Alberta, and to enable the success of Alberta artists and arts organizations locally, provincially, nationally and internationally.
The application deadline for project grants for Organizations is 1 June 2011. Application guidelines and forms for Organizations can be downloaded HERE.
The application deadline for project grants for Individuals is 1 November 2011. Application guidelines and forms for Individuals can be downloaded HERE.
Please note that ACDI applicants are also eligible to apply to other Canada Council programs.

Much obliged to you for the information you share here. I will take it into account undoubtedly. I've got some points to clear out. I would be much grateful to you if you could help me. Some time ago I came across and even had to download an article from http://www.picktorrent.com web search. As far as I understand from it ACDI grants for individual artists will support research, creation, production and/or dissemination, as well as professional development, including residencies. Is it true then that the grant includes a maximum subsistence allowance of $2,000 per month, as well as expenses directly related to the project? Thank you for any feedback on the issue in advance.
