It’s hard to believe that it has already been almost 18 months since A/P’s last fundraising Casino! It seems like just yesterday we were counting out winnings and running chips to the tables… Our next Casino event will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd and Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 at the Elbow River Casino, and we are urgently looking for volunteers to come out and help.

During the past three years, the funding received from the Alberta Gaming and Lottery Commission through casino fundraising has helped A/P imensely, in not just staying active during troubled economic times, but to also in growing into an even better and larger artistic organization. It is thanks to this funding program that we are able to pay our employee and exhibiting artists.

I’m asking you all to check your calenders and to ask your friends and family members to check theirs too! There are 36 volunteer positions that MUST be filled, so please spread the word. If you can help or know of somone willing to help, please email Christie Kirchner at aprint1@telus.net as soon as possible or no later than November 30th.
