• Gallery/Studio space for Rent!

  Gallery/Studio space at Art Central available to rent on a month to month basis for individual artists, art organizations or groups of artists. This is a high traffic, great visibility and vibrant arts venue in the community.

  The cost is $700/month and that includes insurance on the space and its contents. The renter will have full access to the space and it is up to them if they wish to work in the space or simply use it as a gallery/exhibition space.
  It is 100 square feet and there are two 10 feet walls and one four foot wall.

  The front of the space consist mainly of one large window and a glass door, which provides for an excellent viewing opportunity as the space is located on the corner of Center Street and 7th Ave SW.

  The renter will also have access to the Art Central building to host an event during the exhibition time at no extra cost as well as piggy back the Art Central First Thursday celebrations.

  The renter will be featured on the Ajax Arts Agency website, the Art Central website and included in any First Thursday marketing such as the Art Central email newsletter and the OPCD First Thursday brochure. The

  Ajax Arts Agency is also available to hire for any promotional, media relations and event planning needs.

  I been working in multimedia since 2000 and my main focuses have been web site creation and re-creation and have used animation in many of my applications.

  I also design custom graphics, organization logos and illustrations as well as Print Layout for posters, ads, brochures, catalogues and books.

• Film makers! Playrights! Music makes everything look betta!

  My name is Randy Burton and I am a local Calgary musician/producer. I play bass in local rock band, The Evidence, with our album, Polarity, being released this winter. I have been providing scores to short films for the past couple years. I really enjoy doing scores, because there is no limit on genre, mood, feel, and foley work is very challenging and rewarding when you find that perfect sound...I will begin work on Lyndon Cassell's "Waltzing Swords"in November.  My latest work is original music and foley for the Company of Rogues production of "Red Light Winter" playing at the pumphouse theatre from Oct. 29 -Nov 8th, I attended the rehearsal on the 28th and it is very well done. I will find my niche, because I am taking steps towards it daily.
